Prostate cancer patient Kevin Webber has written his story from his diagnosis with stage 4 cancer in 2014 when he was given 2 years to live. However he resolved to become an ultra-runner, entering extreme races around the world even whilst on chemo or radio therapies. A Surrey resident, Kevin remained under the watch of Royal Marsden Hospital, and is still with us. He had significantly raised awareness of the disease and raised nearly £1m for Prostate cancer UK. Whilst PCaSO cannot recommend 300-mile runs, the book is certainly interesting reading. Just released by Pitch Publishing.
