PCaSO Groups

PCaSO Groups

Our main activity is to run groups in many towns and villages within our three counties where men can come to ask questions, learn from expert clinicians and talk about things they can’t talk about elsewhere.

Regular group meetings are a valuable way for men to learn about prostate cancer. It is up to the group and its organiser to decide how often they meet and what they do.

There are currently groups in:

New Groups

PCaSO is always looking for new groups to be set up.  We know that every group will depend on the enthusiasm of one or two people.  If you would like to set one up in your village, town or city within our counties then do get in touch with the relevant branch committee and we will be pleased to help with advice, phone numbers, leaflets and money.

Being part of a larger organisation can be helpful and we think we can offer the following:

  • the external image and brand reputation of PCaSO
  • PCaSO newsletter Updates.
  • Branch bank accounts
  • A website
  • Insurance cover (including public liability)
  • Use of the charity number
  • A standard constitution
  • Preparation of the annual accounts and report sent to the Charity Commission
  • Recovery of Gift Aid money.
  • Prostate Matters newsletter from Tackle
  • Literature and awareness material
  • Helpline
  • Organising PSA testing

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
