Prostate Cancer
Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men. Each year in the UK over 47,000 men are diagnosed with it and about 11,000 men die of it. Recent figures show that more men die of prostate cancer than women die from breast cancer. Publicity by celebrities (thank you Stephen Fry, Bill Turnbull, Sir Chris Hoy among others) has drawn more attention to the disease. Prostate cancer is getting much more attention from researchers around the world and the treatments and drugs are improving rapidly.
